I am Giuseppe, 27 years old, an Italian living in the UK. I have a degree in Economics, Statistics and Social Sciences and I am currently enrolled in a DPhil programme in Politics at the University of Sussex (Brighton, UK). The topic of my research is “The political integration of migrants: a study of the Italian collectivity in London and Peterborough”.
I am interested in history, politics and social life, like watching sports (football, cycling, formula one, etc.), visiting museums and above all travelling and knowing new people and places. I love my country, went often to the USA, have a strong attraction for South and East Asia and hope one day I will have the chance to visit India and the East of Asia. Besides studying and travelling, in my free time I also write some thoughts in verse and take pictures or look for images on the net to be associated with these poems.
In this blog you will find posts related to three main categories: feelings and emotions; political, economic and social life; and sports. Moreover, I will post updates on my PhD research and some of my poems. I will write both in English and Italian and my aim is to be very direct and clear. Just, I’m not going to offend anyone here, so any offensive comment won’t be accepted.
